Privacy Policy

At TrokAI, privacy is a core part of what we do, not an afterthought. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what we don't do with it. By using TrokAI, you agree to the practices described here.

1. What we don't collect

TrokAI doesn't require an account. We don't ask for your name, email address, or phone number to chat. We don't store your conversations: your chat lives in your browser tab and disappears when you close it. We never sell your data.

2. How your messages are processed

To answer you, each message is sent, along with the recent messages of the same conversation, to Groq, which runs the AI models behind TrokAI. Groq does not use your messages to train models and does not retain them by default, although it may keep data for up to 30 days to investigate abuse or keep its service reliable.

When a question needs current information, TrokAI may send a short search query based on your message to Brave Search.

Images. If you're a Pro subscriber and attach an image, your browser shrinks it and re-saves it before sending, which removes hidden metadata such as GPS location. The image is sent to Groq to be safety-checked and answered, and TrokAI never stores it. The safety check writes a one-sentence description of the image, which stays in your conversation so TrokAI can answer follow-up questions; like the rest of the conversation, it lives only in your browser tab.

Your recent conversation travels between your browser and our servers with each message, protected by a cryptographic signature so it can't be altered. We don't write it to a database or log it.

3. Safety screening

To keep TrokAI safe and available, every message and image you send and every reply TrokAI writes is checked by an automated AI safety model before anything is shown. No human reads your messages as part of this process. Messages that break our Terms are blocked. Repeated violations pause access from your network (and, for Pro subscribers, the subscription) for 24 hours, and any attempt to obtain or share content that sexualizes minors results in a 30-day suspension.

To enforce usage limits and suspensions we store a one-way hashed identifier derived from your IP address. We never store the IP address itself or the content of your messages. Usage counters are deleted within 2 days, strike records within 24 hours of the last violation, and suspensions when they end.

4. Information we collect

Pro subscriptions. Payments are processed by Stripe, which collects your email address, billing details, and payment information under its own privacy policy. We receive your Stripe customer ID and store it alongside your randomly generated Pro Token so we can confirm your subscription. We never see or store your card details. We use your email address only to send you your Pro Token.

Usage and safety records. The hashed network identifiers described above.

Analytics. Our pages use Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand visits and measure advertising. These tools collect standard information such as pages viewed, device type, and approximate location. They never receive your chat messages.

5. Local storage on your device

If you activate Pro, your browser keeps your Pro Token in local storage so you stay signed in. You can remove it at any time by signing out in the chat or clearing your browser's site data.

TrokAI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has used TrokAI in a way that raises privacy concerns, contact us at admin@trok-ai.com.

We take reasonable steps to protect the limited data we store. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Because TrokAI collects minimal data and has no accounts, there is very little personal data for us to provide or delete. If you are a Pro subscriber and want your token and Stripe customer ID removed from our system, contact us at admin@trok-ai.com and we will process your request promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of TrokAI after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
